Work Experience

I attended New Zealand Broadcasting School and completed a Bachelor's Degree in Communications - Digital film and Television. As part of that course I spent six months with Virtuoso Media working as a trainee drone camera operator. During my time there, I worked on several different productions as an assist and operator for Warner Brothers, MTV Shannara Chronicles, ITM Fishing Show, Razor Films, Filthy Rich and many others.

Between 2016-2018 I was the full time camera operator at Attitude Pictures, an Auckland-based production company that produces a weekly documentary series and several online series based around disability and health. The nature of Attitude's work often called for a lot of understanding and patience when working with people who haven't usually been involved in television productions, often their stories required a sensitive approach, which I am able to bring to new productions.

Since leaving Attitude in 2018 I have gained experience as a freelance DP and operator across large format shows, local series, documentaries and web series.

I have a lot of experience working overseas for documentary and reality shows, working with crews that range from as small as 3 to over 60.

In 2018 I won two Bronze NZCS Awards, and in 2019 won a Silver NZCS Award for my work in both a televised documentary series and online series for Attitude Pictures.
